What is UGC NET?

UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a national-level examination conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the posts of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
