The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released a detailed notification for the recruitment of Rajasthan Administration Services. Candidates wishing to join the Rajasthan Civil Services may check and apply after fulfilling all the eligibility criteria. This year, a total of 733 vacancies were announced. The recruitment process will include a Prelims, a Mains exam, and an interview.
RPSC RAS 2024 Notification
The RPSE has published the official notification, and all aspiring candidates must go through it thoroughly to avoid any last-minute discrepancies. The Commission has described the eligibility criteria, age limit, number of attempts, etc., to allow a candidate to appear for the examination. As the application process has already begun, one can apply online. After the result of the Prelims, further dates will be announced for the Mains and interview process.

RPSC RAS Eligibility 2024
Various civil post vacancies have been announced by RPSE, making a total of 733. It includes Civil Service Posts and State Services Group A and B posts. The 02 September notification issued by RPSE states the requirements of the RAS exam. The exam will be conducted in three stages, and the application process will be online. The application has an age limit ranging from 21 to 40 years. The prescribed fee for the application form is 350 for the General and OBC Creamy layer categories, Rs 250 for OBC, MBC, and EWS, and Rs. 100 for SC/ ST or those earning less than 2.5 Lakhs annually. The minimum qualification specified for the form is graduation. The selected candidates will be placed all over the state of Rajasthan in various State government departments.

RPSC RAS 2024 Prelims Exam Date
The official notification has declared the date of the RPSE RAS Prelims as 2 February 2025. The exam will be held in February of next year, and the dates for the subsequent stages will be announced soon after the first stage. Aspiring candidates have 4 months to review the syllabus and ace their Prelims.
RPSC RAS 2024 Prelims Important Date
As you all know, the process for online application started last month on 19th September and is ongoing. Candidates have time till 18th October to fill out the application form. The examination of Prelims will be conducted on 2nd February 2025.

- Visit rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Select RPSE Online and then “Apply Online.”
- Select the New Application Portal (through SSO).
- Register and fill in the required details.
- Upload documents and pay the fee.
- Save the PDF for future reference.
RPSC RAS 2024 – Maximum No. of Attempts
No such limit has been specified by the RPSE so far. A candidate can appear for numerous attempts until they reach the age limit. The prescribed upper age limit is 40.
RPSC RAS Eligibility 2024 – Important Points
- The candidate must understand Hindi as it is written in Devnagri.
- They must be well aware of Rajasthan’s state culture.
- No training is required before selection. RPSE will organize the training session once the selection is finalized.
- Physical fitness can be a criterion for various posts.
- The minimum eligibility qualification must be met, as mentioned above.
- Candidates in the final year of graduation can also appear for Prelims. However, they must submit their final degree before the Mains exam.
