JEE Main 2025 Application Process
The online application and registration for JEE Main 2025 are starting today, October 28, 2024. Till November 22, 2024, applications remain open. Aspiring applicants can now apply through this facility by logging into the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in and doing online registration. An official date is going to be announced for the first session on February 12, 2025.
It is, therefore, very important for aspirants to register within the time frame so that they do not face any last-minute hassle. The JEE Main is important because it opens doors to NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions, besides being a preliminary round for the JEE Advanced exam for entry into IITs.
JEE Mains Exam Pattern 2025
As has always been the case with JEE Main, there would still be two papers in it-B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch /B. Pharm. This year, however, there is something the aspirants should be aware of-that section B would no longer consist of optional questions. Trends Over the Years
The trend is the same as in previous years. The first session of JEE Main 2024 was taken between 24th Jan to 31st, and the second session took place between 6th of April to 12th. The no. of candidates appearing for the examination has increased year by year for the last few years. For instance, in 2024, 12.21 lakh candidates had registered for the January session, and 11.70 lakh had appeared for the test. As many as 11.79 lakh appeared for the April session with an exam taking 10.67 lakh.
In 2022, the count was 10.26 lakh students actually registered but crossed 11.62 lakhs to this year.
NEET UG and CUET Exam Dates
In addition to the latter, the NTA released the dates of other important entrance tests, like that of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate as well as Common University Entrance Test. These entrance exams are as important for aspiring students seeking admission to undergraduate programmes in India, like undergraduate medical courses.
